Video game systems traditionally score high on holiday wish lists, so perhaps it's no big surprise when the games themselves get into the spirit of the season. Christmas NiGHTS Into Dreams began as a demo in issues of Next Generation and Ultra Game Players magazines, before being packaged with other games on the market during the 1996 holiday season. Featuring Santa outfits for the main characters and a holiday clock that unlocks hidden content for New Years and April Fools Day, the game spread season's greetings as it introduced new players to NiGHTs, one of Sega Saturn's most entertaining and important titles.
